Air France, here to help at all times

Published on - April 17th, 2020 — csr strategy

Since the outbreak of the Coronavirus, Air France has been committed to helping its customers with their travel plans, as well as helping repatriate French nationals stranded far from home. To date, more than 250,000 people have been flown home on Air France flights.

Beyond its core business, and in these unprecedented times, Air France is showing its determination to take part in the national effort on a daily basis. The airline is donating products to support healthcare workers, help patients and all those working alongside them.

As early as 23 March, Air France donated thousands of health and beauty products initially intended for customers. More than twenty hospitals* throughout France received hundreds of pallets containing more than 17,000 comfort kits, thousands of sleep masks and earplugs for patients in intensive care as well as for care workers. In addition, some 20,000 first-aid kits and headsets for inflight entertainment were also delivered.

The recipients, who were extremely touched by this outpouring of solidarity, expressed their gratitude in their many messages of thanks.
