Air France and Flying Blue extend their commercial measures

Published on - February 22nd, 2021

Since the start of the Covid-19 health crisis, Air France has introduced exceptional measures grouped under the Air France Protect label. These measures are a guarantee of peace of mind when travelling, with the strictest health conditions at every stage of the journey, fully flexible tickets and insurance cover linked to the pandemic.
During this global health crisis, Air France places the health and safety of its customers and staff at the heart of its priorities and is monitoring the situation in real time to offer the most appropriate solutions.

  • Air France is extending to 31 December 2021 the guarantee of fully flexible or refundable tickets on all its flights
The flexible commercial measures relating to fully flexible or refundable tickets, initially scheduled to run until 30 September 2021, have now been extended to 31 December 2021.
Whatever the reason, customers can change their reservation, obtain a refundable credit voucher if they no longer wish to travel or receive a refund if their flight has been cancelled.

  • Flying Blue, the Air France-KLM group's frequent flyer programme, is adapting its commercial policy
Since the beginning of the Covid-19 crisis and in response to the various travel restrictions, Flying Blue has implemented exceptional commercial measures to preserve the benefits of its members. Among them, two of the loyalty programme’s key measures have been renewed for Flying Blue members whose qualifying period ends between March and December 2021:
    - Maintaining the same status
    - Surplus of Experience Points (XP) at the end of the guaranteed qualifying period, at least equal to that acquired at the beginning of the qualifying period
